Ed and Connie have always been such a cute couple. I don't remember him not smiling. Life seemed to have fit comfortably on his shoulders. He will be missed. Our prayers are with the family.

Eddie was a good man and a great husband, father and grandfather. He married my niece, Connie Coyle 52 years ago. Since I grew up in Crescent Springs, I knew him since he was a teenager. A few years ago, I had the privilege of staying with Ed and Connie at their condo in Florida. Eddie had just gotten out of the hospital a month before for heart problems. They asked me to play golf with them. I thought how is Eddie going to be able to play, but we went anyway. He ended up shooting just a few strokes over par. He blew me away. Connie played good that day, too. Eddie will be missed, but he's not suffering anymore. Praise the Lord. Tom Cuthbert
